New Food, Good Night

Now, we all have craved that midnight sweet. Whether or not we indulge in it is based on what we got so thanks to Keebler( https://www.keebler.com/en_US/recipes/frozen-whoopie-pie-recipe.html) I have the treat you can make before bed and wake up for with little hassle. The idea for the cookies comes from fellow blogger Yolanda Gampp of “How To Cake It”(https://howtocakeit.com/blogs/cakes/88919687-kin-cookie-collab-holiday-chocolate-chip-cookie-sandwiches-filled-with-chocolate-cake). Her idea was for Christmas but my recipe is to make midnight snacking like Christmas. The Recipe only takes a five minute prep time but takes about two hours to complete.

The ingredients you will need for these little devils are: 1 cup marshmallow creme, 1/2 cup canned vanilla frosting*,20 Keebler® Chips Deluxe® Rainbow™ Chocolate Chip cookies with M&M’S® Chocolate Candies Now the choice of frosting is up to you, I used vanilla because that is what I had readily available but feel free to spice it up how you please. Once you have the ingredients the instructions are simple and sweet ( pun intended ;)).

The first step is,” In medium bowl fold together marshmallow crème and frosting. Spread about 2 tablespoons on the bottoms of 10 of the Keebler® Chips Deluxe® Rainbow™ Chocolate Chip cookies with M&M’S® Chocolate Candies.” Once that is finished your final step is, “Top with the remaining 10 cookies, bottom sides down, gently pressing together to make sandwiches. Individually wrap in plastic wrap. Place on baking sheet. Freeze about 2 hours or until firm. Store in freezer for up to 1 month.”

Once you are finished be sure to set that alarm for midnight. Now I know that it says up to a month but that is only a suggestion. Feel free to pop all you can because this recipe is made to make your mouth water. This will be worth the trip to the kitchen or the trip over the cat any night. I know I am glad I stayed up to taste this delectable, it was like an ice cream sandwich but with the tenderness of a cookie. Thanks to Dessertedplanet.com for the idea of this blog’s writing (http://dessertedplanet.com/smores-puppy-chow/). Hope to give more ventures as I explore new talents.

Until Next Time,
